okay Iamp;#39;m gonna show you how to remove a table in Excel if you want to figure out insert one you can check out my other video on that if you want to learn more about tables in general you can check out my video on sorting and alphabetizing in Excel but for now weamp;#39;re just gonna say you got a table you want to get rid of it all Iamp;#39;m gonna do is highlight the table right click on it go to table down here towards the bottom and convert to range itamp;#39;s gonna confirm that I want to do this and I do so there we go now itamp;#39;s no longer a table you can see itamp;#39;s still formatted as a table if you want to get rid of that just click over here into any empty cell youamp;#39;re gonna go over here to the format painter on your Home tab this button right here click on it so that cell is dancing it means itamp;#39;s copied all I have to do is select the cells I want to paint that format to there we go

Hide Unused Styles: In the Styles group, click on the Cell Styles dropdown arrow. At the bottom of the dropdown list, click on Manage Styles. In the Style Manager dialog box, switch to the Used tab. Select the styles you want to hide by unchecking the checkboxes next to them.
From the Home tab, choose Border. Choose Erase Border. The mouse pointer is displayed as an eraser. Click the eraser on the edge of each cell in range F6:H7 to remove the border.
To remove all formatting in Excel, just do the following: Select the cell or range of cells from which you want to clear formatting. On the Home tab, in the Editing group, click the arrow next to the Clear button. Select the Clear Formats option.
Select any cell in the table from which you want to remove the current table style. On the Home tab, click Format as Table, or expand the Table Styles gallery from the Table Tools Design tab (the Table tab on a Mac). Click Clear. The table will be displayed in the default table format.
To remove the excess formatting in the current worksheet, do the following: On the Inquire tab, click Clean Excess Cell Formatting. Choose whether to clean only the active worksheet or all worksheets.
Changing the Normal Style for Existing Workbooks First, expand your Excel window as wide as possible. Right click on Normal, then select Modify. Review the settings; to make adjustments, click Format. Make adjustments to each tab:
To remove any background colors, patterns, or fill effects from cells, just select the cells. Then click Home arrow next to Fill Color, and then pick No Fill.
By using Ctrl+A or by choosing the Select all button, take off all of the formatting from a worksheets cells. Select all of the cells in the worksheet using the Select All button in the top-left corner and then select Clear Formats.
