Baking Soda Start by blotting your coffee stain with a cold, damp paper towel. Then sprinkle some baking soda over the area and let it seep in for a while. Blot it away with a dry towel or cloth - dont panic if the mark is still there.
Make a mixture of water and white vinegar in a ratio of 3:1. Mix it in a bowl large enough to submerge the stain on the paper. Soak the stained paper in the vinegar solution for a few seconds. Remove the paper, and allow it to dry on a clean towel.
Some stains can often be improved with a kneaded rubber eraser or Absorene Paper and Book Cleaner. Knead a small amount of Absorene in your hand until it is soft and rub it lightly in one direction over the soiled surface. As it picks up the stain or dirt, knead it again to freshen it.
***Note: The New York Public Library Desk Reference says: Sponge the stain with cool water or soak in cool water for 30 min. or more. If the stain persists, work soap or detergent into it, then rinse thoroughly. Allow the article to dry. If a greasy stain remains, sponge with a grease solvent.
To erase, tap the eraser, then tap it again to choose one of the erasers: To erase pixels, tap Pixel Eraser, then tap or drag on the drawing.
Freezing the chocolate makes it easier to remove chocolate without smearing it. Use a butter knife or the edge of a plastic credit card to lift smudges. If youre the type of person that carries a stain stick, you can also apply that to the stain right away.
Dampen the stained area with a few drops of water. Use a damp microfiber cloth with a drop of dish soap to scrub the stained area gently. Wipe off the soapy residue and extra moisture with a clean, damp cloth. Use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel for more stubborn stains.
To remove grease stains from a paper surface, mix equal parts water and vinegar, then take a cotton ball or swab and dab into the mixture, says Stapf. Apply weight on the area for about 10 minutes to fully absorb the vinegar. You may need to repeat this step a few times if its an old stain that wont budge.
