here in illustrator letamp;#39;s grab the eraser tool keyboard shortcut is shifty click and drag through my shape to delete like so now to change the size of the eraser here in the properties panel click on the tool options button the eraser tool options panel opens up with values for angle roundness and size so letamp;#39;s reduce the size choose ok thereamp;#39;s the change just there now if you have something selected like i do just now and you switch to the eraser tool note that button is no longer available within the properties panel however you can launch that same panel by over here in the tools panel simply double clicking on the eraser tool icon same panel opens up letamp;#39;s change the size choosing ok thereamp;#39;s the result just there now we can also change the size via the keyboard specifically the left and right square bracket keys so i can tap the left square bracket key or i can click and hold it thatamp;#39;s the result to say the same with the right square
