hey guys this is mike with mikes custom cornholes again today i want to show you how to clear coat the boards that we stained yesterday first thing youre going to want to do is grab your sanding block i like to use 120 grit lightly sand it they get all the rust out of it first usually that stain youre going to get a nice smooth feel to it you want to do your edges and the top surface you also want to sand the hole and youre going to take a damp rag wipe off all that sand and dust okay once thats done turn my fan on dry that dampness off a little bit make sure i dont feel any rough spots im gonna grab a three inch foam brush and i like to use poly acrylic clear coat some people will spray clear coat on but me myself i dont have the means really to do that or the space so i use a four inch brush and brush it on seems to work out pretty good for me somebody emailing me this morning [Music] just brush it on with nice even strokes some people go up and down with the board i like go
