Right click on the curve point to be deleted and select Delete on the pop-up menu. Or, select the curve point and hit Delete key on the keyboard.
You can usually tell that an icon is a shortcut because itll either have a tiny arrow at its bottom-left corner, or say Shortcut in the name. The easiest way to delete a shortcut is to right-click it with your mouse, and then select Delete (PC) or Move to Trash (Mac) from the menu that appears.

To delete sketch points: Open a sketch on which you previously used the Segment tool to create sketch points. You must have created the sketch in SOLIDWORKS 2016 or later. Delete a sketch point. The spacing for the remaining sketch points adjusts so the points remain equidistant to each other along the sketch entity.
