RTF preserves the formatting and structure of a document, including fonts, colors, tables, and images, regardless of the software used. This ensures that the intended appearance is maintained across different platforms.
RTF files are simple to use and easy to edit. On Windows, save a document as an RTF file by navigating to File Save as and then select RTF. Once youve opened your RTF file on Microsoft Word, select the text you would like to edit. Start typing in this space to replace the current text with the new text.
Remove a page break using Delete You can also place your cursor just before the page break marker and press Delete, or just after the marker, and press Backspace.
The only thing that seems to work is to tell the user to insert the RTF in Word after the descriptive text, then have the user view the footer and choose the option to start page numbers from 1 in this section, instead of numbering continuously from the previous section.
Page breaks remain visible when you close and reopen the workbook after saving it. To turn them off, click the File tab, click Options, click the Advanced category, scroll down to the Display options for this worksheet section, and clear the Show page breaks check box.
Remove a manual page break Double-click the page break to select it and then press Delete.
If youre not in Editing View, select Edit Document Edit in Word for the web. Select the page break. Press Delete.
If you added section breaks to your document, the easiest way to see where they begin and end is to show formatting marks. Go to Home, and select Show all nonprinting characters. Select the section break and then press Delete.
