every kid that I ever met with ADHD pretty much always did better on a behavior contract they need a clear set of rules rewards and consequences this works for all ages preschool through high school what are the rules what are the expectations do not leave any gray area check in constantly on their progress do not let this slip it may seem tedious at first but if you create a daily habit of it I promise you things will get better in my experience the best s are something your child can feel and hold one example that we did was we used baby food containers and we put them on the fireplace mantel there were five of them and then we had five bouncy balls that he could earn and when he would get to the fifth one he could earn some time watching his favorite show this worked really well because it was so clear and he always knew right where he stood I would say that any kind of system is fine you can do stickers you can do I talked about bouncy balls you can do marbles any kind of reward s

Behavioral contracting involves a written document stating goals and the reward or other outcome for meeting (or failing to meet) the stated goals.
The behaviour contract is an agreement between the student and his/her school, teacher or home. The contract states the behaviour expected by the student and the teachers or parents obligations once the student has met his/her agreement.
The teacher next meets with the student to draw up a behavior contract. The contract should include: a listing of student behaviors that are to be reduced or increased. As stated above, the students behavioral goals should usually be stated in positive, goal-oriented terms.
What it is: Behavior contracts are individualized written agreements that are used to change student. behavior(s). Contracts should: define student expected positive behaviors. establish a set of criteria in which to achieve the desired behaviors.
A behavior contract is an agreement between the student, caregivers, and the teacher. The contract outlines expectations for the students behavior. It also outlines the reinforcer for meeting or not meeting the expectations. The contract is considered a Tier 2 behavioral intervention.

The behavior contract spells out specifically which behavior(s) your child needs to focus on. It also explains how rewards and consequences will work. It can motivate your child to self-regulate. Your child is involved in the process of making the behavior plan goals and choosing their rewards.
Example of a Positive Behavior Contract I will be respectful. I will stay upbeat and positive. I will take responsibility for mistakes with customers. I will take care of the customer quickly and effectively.
