hi this is brian from the computer workshop iamp;#39;m going to be presenting another little word tutorial today and today i want to kind of talk about marking the document as final so once youamp;#39;ve been working with this file for some time youamp;#39;ve had it reviewed by several colleagues back and forth back and forth and youamp;#39;ve really ironed out all the bugs and this is the actual final version there will be no further edits that you want to make or allow to be made in this file and thatamp;#39;s the time that you want to consider doing a marcus final now iamp;#39;m going to do a quick save as generally speaking and i would keep my working copy as a full-on regular word document so should i ever need but the one that iamp;#39;m going to put out into the public realm that one i want to make sure is marked as final so that nobody can edit now there are all kinds of other variations to this that you may find that you need to think about maybe itamp;#39;s youamp;#3

Go to the Review tab at the top. In the Comments section, select the Show Markup dropdown menu. Uncheck the Comments option to hide all comments in your document. To hide individual comments, click on each and select Delete Comment.

Clear formatting from text Select the text that you want to return to its default formatting. In Word: On the Edit menu, click Clear and then select Clear Formatting.
Show or hide tab marks in Word Go to File Options Display. Under Always show these formatting marks on the screen, select the check box for each formatting mark that you always want to display regardless if the Show/Hide. button is turned on or off. Clear any check boxes for ones you dont want always displayed.
Click the Review tab (or ribbon or whatever the stupid thing is called). In the Tracking area, click Show Markup. All the boxes are selected. Uncheck Markup Area Highlight.
