How to clear all formatting in Excel Select the cell or range of cells from which you want to clear formatting. On the Home tab, in the Editing group, click the arrow next to the Clear button. Select the Clear Formats option.

In the Views box, click the name of the view that you want to delete, and then click Delete.
To delete a custom field: Go to Core Settings Custom Fields. Under Publishable Fields, delete the text in the Field Name. This deletes the field.
Scroll down the settings page to the Views section, and click the view you want to delete. In the top area of the view, click Delete. Note: If Delete is not an option, this may be the default view for a list or library, and you cannot delete a default view.
To close a Sheet View and return to the default view, select View Sheet View Exit.
Pressing CTRL + \ will clear the formatting. If you want to enable the ALT keyboard combos, press CTRL + / to open the Keyboard Shortcuts menu in Google Sheets. At the bottom, toggle on the Enable compatible spreadsheet shortcuts feature.
