hey guys Wayne here from h2te videos uh today I want to show you how to um uh get your work back if you were working on a project with Google Docs and your paper got erased um as long as the file is still there for example just like this this is the paper that got erased you can get it back and Iamp;#39;m going to show you how to do that so first of all open the document you were working on so Iamp;#39;m my Google Docs opening it up this was supposed to be my final paper and itamp;#39;s gone and nothing is here uh so what youamp;#39;re going to do so like you might have tried like control Z which control Z doesnamp;#39;t work um if youamp;#39;ve like closed the project and reopened it um but all hope isnamp;#39;t lost what youamp;#39;re going to do is go to file and go down to see revision history and in the upper right corner right here this is your revision history and so um it shows today excuse me December 2nd um which doesnamp;#39;t really help us too much it does kind of

You may wish to do this if you added a wrong word by accident or if you no longer need the words youve previously added. In your Google doc, select Tools from the toolbar. Next, select Spelling and grammar and then Personal dictionary. Next to the word you want to delete, you should see a trashcan icon.
To escape quotes in Google Sheets, you can use a backslash () before the quote. For example, if you want to enter Hello world in a cell, you would enter Hello world in the cell. This will ensure that the quotes are not interpreted as a formula or text formatting.
You can also use a keyboard shortcut to strike your text. To do this, highlight the text you want to cross out and simultaneously press Alt+Shift+5 on your keyboard. To undo a strikethrough, hit the same combination of keys again or undo the action.
Utilizing Built-In Functions Google Sheets supports built-in functions like LEFT, RIGHT, and MID to extract substrings from a text string in a cell. LEFT: Grabs characters from the start. MID: Fetches text from any position. RIGHT: Extracts from the end.
Find and Replace is helpful for deleting words in bulk. With Google Docs, enter the word or words to be removed in the Find field and put either a space or nothing at all in the Replace with field, essentially deleting the words.
Remove Specific Characters From the String If we want to remove that specific character, we can replace that character with an empty string. The str. replace() method will replace all occurrences of the specific character mentioned.
Use find and replace in a spreadsheet On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Find and replace. Next to Find, type the word you want to find, If you want to replace the word, enter the new word next to Replace with.
How to Remove Characters in Google Sheets Using the SUBSTITUTE Function =SUBSTITUTE(texttosearch, searchfor, replacewith, [occurrencenumber]) texttosearch is the text or the cell reference containing the text you want to change. searchfor is the character or string you want to remove.
