To remove dot leaders: Select the entire table. On the Layout ribbon, click the launch button in the bottom right of the Paragraph section. In the Paragraph window, click Tabs. In the Leader section, select 1 None. Click OK.
Double-click the header or footer area (near the top or bottom of the page) to open the Header Footer tab. Select Link to Previous to turn off the link between the sections. Select Header or Footer and do one of the following: Choose Remove Header or Remove Footer near the bottom of the menu.

Under Insert, locate the Header Footer pane. If you want to remove a header from your document, click on the down arrow next to Header. When the drop-down menu appears, click on Remove Header. If you want to remove a footer from your document, click the down arrow next to Footer.
