hello and in this video iamp;#39;m going to show you a special method to delete the header and footer from just one page in a word document so i have a very simple document here itamp;#39;s about six seven pages but thereamp;#39;s one particular page that i donamp;#39;t want the header and footer to appear there which is part two if you are working on a long or complex word document very often you will encounter these scenarios is that you donamp;#39;t want the header and footer to appear on the first page of a new chapter or on the first page of a new session on the first page of a new part like this one okay so letamp;#39;s learn how to do it now first we will need to go to the end of the previous section and insert a section right so go to insert sorry go to layout go to break and then select section break next page so basically all the pages before part two will be put into one section and then part two onwards it will be another section now double

Understanding Headers in Microsoft Word Adding or removing headers in Microsoft Word is easy. To delete a header, go to the Insert tab. Then, press the Header button and select Remove Header from the drop-down menu. This will get rid of the header from your document.
Go to the ribbon at the top of the window and click on Insert. Under Insert, locate the Header Footer pane. If you want to remove a header, click Header. When the drop-down menu appears, select the Remove Header option.
Go to Insert Header Footer. On the top right side of the document, select Options Remove Headers Footers.
