considering how handy googles office suite is you may find it getting a little cluttered if you use it often whether youre starting fresh or making space for more files if youre doing some spring cleaning and want to clear out all your google documents heres what you need to do if you dont have a lot of documents you can delete them all from google docs once youre logged into the right account put your recent documents in list view by clicking on the icon at the top right for your convenience mouse over a document then click on the triple dotted icon to its right select remove and google docs will throw up a warning click on move to trash and your document will disappear from the list rinse and repeat for the few documents you have if you want to manage multiple files at once youll need to manage them from google drive click on the multi-dotted icon next to your profile icon on any google website and select drive from the list once youre logged into the account put your files

Search for the relevant file or folder under Shared with me in Google Drive. Right-click on the file/folder and select Share. Find your name under People with access and click the permission level drop-down menu. Select Remove access and click Save.
Important: Find the file or folder in Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, or Google Slides. Open or select the file or folder. Click Share or Share . Find the person you want to stop sharing with. To the right of their name, click the Down arrow. Remove. To save changes, click Save.
You can permanently delete a file in the Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides apps, or empty your entire trash in the Google Drive app. After deleting a file, anyone you've shared the file with will lose access to it. If you want others to be able to still view the file, you can give ownership to someone else.
While in Google Drive, on the left side menu select Trash. Check to ensure all files inside the list are those you want to completely remove. On the upper portion of the file list, click Empty Trash to permanently delete all items in the list.
To undo email sharing: Open the File menu and click Share. Click the drop-down menu next to the name of the person you want to remove. Select Remove and then Save.
Step 1: On your device, open Google Drive. Step 2: Once you are in the app, long-press the file you want to delete, if you want to delete more than one file, simply keep selecting the files. Step 3: Now, tap on the trashcan icon on the top right of the corner.
Files in trash will be automatically deleted after 30 days. You can restore files from your trash before the 30-day time window. You can also permanently delete them to empty your trash.
