to transfer your drawing using what i would call a paint transfer method the supplies youre going to need include paper towels a bristle brush which is you know pretty aggressive uh i like to use burnt umber for the paint transfer its pretty fast drying and just overall a nice universal neutral uh you will need some tracing paper and a toned canvas so typically i will tone a canvas before transferring a drawing so this has been toned and allowed to dry for probably about a week would be good but a couple days at least you want to make sure this is dry so here i have um this is going to be for a color study so i just have printed out a small version of what im going to be doing a color study of i could also do the same thing with a line drawing or construct this is what most of the time that i will do for a painting is a linear drawing or cartoon that i will then transfer so either one can be used i happen to be using again a black and white printout just to get the basic lines down
