[Music] hello my name is Josiah Ray owner and creator of Jr studios.com Im going to show you how to erase pencil marks that have been made in so here I am inside gim and Ive got this background layer that Ive created and Im going to take the pencil and just kind of make a few a few uh marks on here as though I was trying to draw something okay so weve got our marks and this has been made with a pencil to erase them we want to select the Eraser and uh make this a little bigger so it covers up the pencil marks but you notice as soon as we start erasing its erasing the background as well thats because when you draw on top of a layer the actual layer itself it kind of flattens that image together and you cant separate the marks from it the good news is theres a way to get around this if you pay attention to what youre doing before you actually make the pencil marks so what Im going to do is come over here to the history and Im going to go back to where I just had a plain backgr

Answer: The Eraser Tool is used in concert with the Drawing and Painting Tools to obtain final, usable art. As the name implies, the Eraser Tool is primarily used for erasing.

Answer: Explanation: Eraser tool is used to erase a part of your drawing.
A kneaded eraser, also commonly known as a putty rubber, is a pliable erasing tool used by artists. It is usually made of a grey or white unvulcanized rubber (though it can be found in many different colors, such as green, blue, hot pink, yellow, and so forth) resembling putty or chewing gum.
It is necessary to use erasing tools in properly preparing and correcting drawings. The eraser is used to remove preliminary or unwanted lines. An erasing shield is used to remove a line that is close to other lines on the drawing that are not being removed.
Rubber eraser A rubber eraser works similarly to a gum eraser but with a little more precision. It pulls graphite from the paper while shedding itself, so it will leave little crumbs on the paper. While overzealous use can damage paper, rubber erasers, like gum erasers, are less abrasive on paper than vinyl erasers.
E. This tool is used to remove parts of the active layer or selection. It can be useful when working with multi-layered images as portions of an upper layer erased will allow lower layers to show through.
