[Music] hello my name is Josiah Ray owner and creator of Jr studios.com Im going to show you how to erase pencil marks that have been made in so here I am inside gim and Ive got this background layer that Ive created and Im going to take the pencil and just kind of make a few a few uh marks on here as though I was trying to draw something okay so weve got our marks and this has been made with a pencil to erase them we want to select the Eraser and uh make this a little bigger so it covers up the pencil marks but you notice as soon as we start erasing its erasing the background as well thats because when you draw on top of a layer the actual layer itself it kind of flattens that image together and you cant separate the marks from it the good news is theres a way to get around this if you pay attention to what youre doing before you actually make the pencil marks so what Im going to do is come over here to the history and Im going to go back to where I just had a plain backgr
