sometimes pencil gets embedded into your paper for whatever reason sometimes its a wash sometimes its just water and it kind of sets or cures the pencil into the paper and it can be difficult to erase this pencil especially if its on a pristine white paper and you want it to be pencilless my solution is to use a damp synthetic brush like my Ivory flat here it has really firm nylon bristles and its not stiff like a Hogs hair brush so it wont damage your paper the same way I put a little bit of water on it and then I just blot some of the excess water off on some paper towel using a really gentle circular movement Im able to then lift the pencil off successfully and I can blot with tissue to remove any excess water I can repeat this process over and over until the pencil has been lifted completely its important to use enough water so that you dont damage the paper Surface by brushing it too aggressively and there is your eraser hack using a synthetic brush
