hello welcome to lvie Advantage in this video weamp;#39;ll learn about the cion dots in lab view in the front panel we have three controls and two indicators and in the blog diagram as you can see we can observe three different red dots these are the cion dots in L cion dots means the Lev is trying to convert the data type into the expected data type by the terminal so to check as you can see the top terminal or the control is double while the lower one is single so we can remove the first cotion dot by changing either one of that in this case we converted the bottom one into the double and the second portion dot is because we are fing the Boolean fing the double input into the i32 indicator so what we can do is we are going to convert the double type into the long integer the two main reasons of removing the ction dot is because ction dot requires lots of processing to convert the data into the requested type second reason is to avoid the unexpected output
