Youve got say a seven page document and theres an eighth page and its just blank. You dont want that page to appear when you export as a PDF or when you print a document. Well, there are a few different reasons that you may see extra pages at the end of your Pages document. To get to the bottom of it the first thing you need to understand is that there are two different types of Pages documents. Theres a word processing document and a page layout document. When you create a new document in Pages you start off

Click the Search box in the top left corner. Type Pages and press Enter. Select Pages from the list of applications. Click the Cloud icon to re- Pages for Mac app.
Delete a text box by pressing delete on the keyboard when the box is active. To move the text box, click outside of it and then click back on it to make it active.
Delete a document Select the document, then do one of the following: Drag the document to the Trash icon in the Dock. Press Command-Delete on the keyboard.
Position your mouse cursor over the background of the image and the mouse cursor will turn into a crosshair. Click on the color (or plain background) and drag to select the area to be removed. The more you drag the greater the area selected.
Delete a page In a page layout document: Click View in the toolbar, choose Show Page Thumbnails, select the page thumbnail, then press Delete.
Change Pages settings on Mac Choose Pages Settings (from the Pages menu at the top of your screen). To see each group of settings, click General, Rulers, or Auto-Correction at the top of the window.
Revert to your last opened or last saved version With the current version of your document open, choose File Revert To (from the File menu at the top of your screen), then choose one of the following (you may not see all of these options): Click Restore or Done.
To delete a text box, click the text in the box, then press the Delete key on your keyboard. You can also link a text box to another text box to accommodate overflow text.
Touch and hold the thumbnail of the page you want to delete, lift your finger, then tap Delete. To select multiple pages, touch and hold one page as you tap other pages with a second finger, then lift your fingers. until the page disappears.
Delete a document Open Pages, and if a document is already open, tap Documents in the top-left corner to see all your documents. Touch and hold the document thumbnail, lift your finger, then tap Delete. To delete a document shared with you by someone else (so that it can no longer be recovered), tap Delete Now.
