on September 1st Governor Nome signed a bill into law that will go into effect on January 1st 2024 that has to do with non-compete agreements in California be known for a long time that except for very very narrow exceptions non-com Agreements are unenforceable in California if youamp;#39;re an employee in California your previous employer cannot tell you you canamp;#39;t work for that competitor but what if that previous employer was outside of the state what if you signed that on the east coast and now youamp;#39;re moving to California does that make any difference well this bill clarifies that it doesnamp;#39;t matter where you signed it we are not going to allow you to enforce it in California so thatamp;#39;s the main clarification about this and thereamp;#39;s another thing too it says that if you sign a non-compete agreement with a California employee you can actually get in trouble now for even signing it because imagine if youamp;#39;re an employee you think well maybe

For manual deletion, the latex editor TeXstudio (and probably its parent TeXmaker as well) contains an option Clean Auxiliary Files in the Tools menu. As advised in other answers, aux file deletion should only be done manually when document no longer needs any further editing.
In Overleaf you have to navigate to Logs and output files (which is to the right of the Recompile button). A trash can icon can be found on the bottom right of this window. Clicking this will erase cached files forcing LaTeX to refresh bibliographys settings and hopefully fixing the problem.
When you compile your project, LaTeX generates numerous auxiliary files which are stored user-by-user in a cache as opposed to with the project. Those generated files typically include . aux , . log and . toc files, which are used for cross referencing, generating bibliographies, and making tables of contents.
You need to use an external tool, like a LaTeX editor or Makefile to delete it for you. For example latexmk has a -c option which cleans up all auxiliary files.
Click on the Logs and other files icon next to the Recompile button, then scroll right to the bottom, and click on the Trashcan icon. There is an icon of error and warning in the upper right corner. Scroll down to bottom of the warning and error. You will see a trash icon and click on that icon.
