Object Removal Select your photo. Open your photo in Guided mode. Select Basics and click Object Removal. Choose the object you want to remove. Use the Brush tool to paint over the object you want to remove. Then click Remove Object. Make refinements. If necessary, use the Spot Healing Brush to fine-tune your result.
To use this, select the text area with the Lasso Tool, then go to Edit Content-Aware Fill, and Photoshop will analyze the surrounding content to fill in the selection. Lastly, the new AI-based Generative Fill tool allows you to remove text by typing a prompt.
Use the tools in the panel on the left, with their Add to selection and Subtract from selection options, to clean up the selection. Use the Quick Selection tool to select automatically based on similar tones and image edges. Use the Refine Edge Brush tool for more precise selection of soft edges, like hair or fur.
Step 1: Locate the Remove Tool. The Remove Tool is in the Band-Aid section of the left-hand toolbar. Step 2: Brush Over the Object. Once you enable the Remove Tool, brush over the object you want to remove. Step 3: Assess the Result and Try Again If Necessary.
Deleting part of a shape layer involves selecting the specific area within the shape layer using selection tools such as the Rectangular Marquee Tool or the Lasso Tool. Once selected, press the Delete key to remove the element from the shape layer.
After making the selection, in this step, you can now easily delete your selection in photoshop. To delete the selection, go to Edit Clear. Now see the selected area has been deleted.
To subtract from a selection, click the Subtract from selection icon in the Options bar, or press the Option key (MacOS) or Alt key (Windows) as you select an area you want to remove from the selection.
