This tutorial demonstrates how to remove parent theses in a character string using the VR programming language. By running a code example to create a character string in RStudio, we generate a data object called "my string." To remove the parentheses from the string, the g-sub-function is applied with square brackets around the parenthesis to specify their removal. The process is outlined in the code exemplified in the tutorial.
