hi guys i hope so you are doing well and welcome back to a new video this video is a simple and quick tutorial on how to remove background from trees in photoshop in this technique we have to make the foreground darker then the background and the background brighter than the foreground we are going to use channels and levels for this purpose first go to channels section if you couldnt see the channels section here then go to windows and check channels you can see four channels here rgb red green and blue we have to select that one channel in which the foreground the tree is darker and the background is brighter now select these channels one by one and lets see which one is looking good blue channel is the one which we needed because the tree is darker than the sky now right click on the blue channel and click duplicate channel and name it whatever if you want now select the duplicate channel and press ctrl plus l for the levels adjustment layer and you can see the option here preset
