The removeAttribute() method removes an attribute, and does not have a return value. The removeAttributeNode() method removes an Attr object, and returns the removed object. The result will be the same.
Use the Delete Command from the Right-Click Menu Right-click on the shape you want to delete to open the context menu. From the options displayed, select the Delete or Cut command to remove the shape. If prompted, confirm the deletion to permanently remove the shape from your Visio diagram.
You can delete a class attribute only when it does not have a value associated with it in a class. For the class attribute you need to delete, select the More Actions icon in the Actions column. Select Delete. The class attribute is immediately removed from the list.
Double-click the icon in the tree view or the shape in a diagram that represents the element. Click Attributes, select the attribute you want to delete. Click Delete, and then click OK.
You should use removeAttribute() instead of setting the attribute value to null either directly or using setAttribute() . Many attributes will not behave as expected if you set them to null .
Use the BulkAttributeRemover to remove all attributes that match a pattern. Use the AttributeKeeper to keep selected individual attributes on a feature. Removing attributes can improve FME Workbench performance, making translations run more efficiently and the FME Workbench interface respond more quickly.
If you have not done so already, expand Schema management in the navigation area, then click Manage attributes. To delete an attribute: Click the radio button next to the attribute that you want to delete. Click Delete.
Click the shape(s) that you want to remove the data graphic from. On the Data tab, in the Display Data group, click Data Graphics, and then click No Data Graphic.
