good day Internet mister faint back at it again with another teaching tips video and today were talking about exit tickets and were doing it right now [Music] what is an exit ticket an exit ticket is a quick form of formative assessment that you can do it at the end of any whole group or small group lesson its your way of answering this question did my students learn what I wanted them to learn for my lesson whether it be whole or small group the exit ticket can be as short as just one question that the students going to answer that can show you what theyve learned or what they know and I actually use post-it notes so at the end of the lesson I will have the th table captain pass out post-it notes to each friend of their table and Ill ask one final question to the class the students will write their name on the post-it note write the answer on the post-it note and when theyre done they go take the post-it note and they stick it on the whiteboard and at the end of the lesson after
