Center the text vertically between the top and bottom margins Select the text that you want to center. On the Layout or Page Layout tab, click the Dialog Box Launcher. In the Vertical alignment box, click Center. In the Apply to box, click Selected text, and then click OK.
Open the report. To open the report, load the Crystal Reports application. Refresh the fields in the report. Add the field(s) to the report using the fields explorer. Refresh the fields in the report. Add the required tables to the report. Create the links to the new table.
In MS-Word, click on Insert | Symbol. In the pop-up, choose Normal Text, and you should see a round bullet such as u2022. If you can use that one, then in CR, if it is a text box that you want the bullet in, place the cursor where you want it and hold down the ALT key and type 0149. That should place the round bullet.

To insert special fields in Crystal Reports, click the small plus sign next to the Special Fields entry within the Field Explorer pane. Click the name of the special field that you want to insert into the report and then click the Insert to Report button in the toolbar of the Field Explorer pane.
Answer: Open the report in the Crystal Reports application. Select the text object field (click on the text and a blue box will appear) Right click on the box and select Edit Text Object. Edit the text as needed. Save the report.
To set field default formatting, select File, Options from the menu bar and click the Fields tab. Field formats are set based on the field type you select.

To write a conditional formatting formula, right-click the report and click Format Result Object element select the property on which you want to apply conditional formula click and it will open formula workshop. Write the formula in the formula text pane, save and close it.
To rotate text to show as vertical, do the following: Right click your report object and select Format Object. Under the Common tab, change Text Rotation to 90 or 270 degrees. Click OK.
