FILE SIZE is calculated by multiplying the surface area of a document (height x width) to be scanned by the bit depth and the dpi2. Because image file size is represented in bytes, which are made up of 8 bits, divide this figure by 8.
For example, a 600 pixels wide image thats also 6.25 inches wide, has a resolution of 96 DPI.

How big is an image measuring 1080 x 1920 px in inches? At a low resolution of 72 PPI, the image would measure 11.25 x 20.
For example, if an image measures 3,840 x 5,760 pixels and you want an 8- x 10-inch print, take the longest edge in pixels and divide it by the longest edge in inches of the target print size: 5,760 pixels 10 inches = 576 ppi.
For an 8 x 10 print, the image resolution should be 1536 x 1024 pixels minimum.
Since every inch contains 300 pixels, that means that your 8.5x11 file should be: 2550 pixels wide (300 pixels/inch * 8.5 inches) and. 3300 pixels tall (300 pixels/inch * 11 inches)
SVGA (800x600 pixels, 4:3 aspect ratio): SVGA projectors are low-resolution projectors that are more affordable and suitable for projecting simple data, charts, and video clips.
