By default, Photoshop is set to open only Raw images in Camera RAW Plugin. If you want your JPEG images to open automatically in Camera Raw Plugin, then you have to change a few things in the default settings of camera raw in Photoshop. You have to click on the edit tab, then preference, and then Camera raw. Select file handling. In this jpeg and tiff handling you can see by default its set to automatically open jpegs with settings. Clicking on this dropdown menu, you just have to select automatically open all supported jpegs. If you want the same with your tiff files, do the same with tiff file handling. Now try opening a jpeg image with photoshop, it will automatically open in the Camera Raw plugin first and not in the main Photoshop interface. Hope you like this video.
