foreign [Music] Andy has a question I want to be able to provide a phone number to someone who wants to call into the teams meetings or dial a number for the meeting not assigning a user a phone number where and when does the number appear so an individual would not be using the teams app but dialing directly in that that number should be generated in when you create the meeting there should be dial-in information and in the meeting information underneath the settings menu will tell you what that dial-in information is um but theres also you have to have the teams calling depending on the the user license you may have to have to have a personal phone number that they can call into you have to have that licensing thats right yeah as far as I know yep yeah you have to have the licensing and anybody who is generating the meeting so essentially if you want the person generating the meeting to have a phone number in the meeting request that license has to be applied to them you can use

It can take up to 24 hours for the assigned phone numbers to show up on your meeting invite. If you arent seeing updated numbers appear, please wait at least 24 hours before contacting support.
Schedule and join a meeting Go to Teams Calendar. Select + New meeting. Give your meeting a title. Decide on a date and time. Type in names of individual attendees, or select Add channel to select a class team channel to meet in. Take a moment to review your meeting details.
During a meeting You can also type a persons name or phone number in the Invite someone or dial a number field to add someone who wasnt previously invited.
Follow these steps to assign a new phone number to your audio conferencing bridge. Using the Microsoft Teams admin center: From the Home, go to Voice Phone numbers. Select the phone number, and select Assign.
Join a meeting by phone audio Click Join to join a meeting. Choose Phone audio under Choose your video and audio options. Select Join now. From here, users can have the meeting call and join them or dial in manually to the meeting.
If youd like to include a dial-in number and conference ID for your Teams meeting, do one of the following: Schedule the Teams meeting from Outlook. Those meeting details are automatically included. Schedule the meeting from Teams, but make sure PSTN conferencing is turned on for your account.
Sign into the Teams admin center. Expand Voice, and then select Resource accounts page. Select the resource account to which you want to assign a phone number, and then select Assign/unassign. Select the X on the assigned Auto attendant or Call queue.
Launch Microsoft Outlook and open Calendar. Click New Teams Meeting and add all the Meeting details. Send the meeting invite to at least one person, and all available users will receive the dial-in number directly on the invitation - theres no need to do anything else.
