Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own fillable form using Microsoft Word. First off, what is a fillable form? You can have people go in and fill out a form, but they wont be able to edit the questions or the structure of the form. You can use things like check boxes, text fields, drop down lists, date pickers, to build your form. Once someones finished completing your form, they can e-mail it back, they could print it out, or you could even connect it to a database. Connecting to a database is outside of the scope of todays tutorial. Its kind of like an docHub PDF form, but its Microsofts version of it. Ive included sample files today if you want to follow along, otherwise lets jump on the PC and lets get started. In the SAP command field enter the t-code WE09 . Now on the IDoc Search for Business Content click the Data Source button. Select Database as the data source as shown in the image. Next enter all the available selection parameters, to restrict the IDoc search as far as possible.
IDoc (intermediate document) is a standard data structure used in SAP applications to transfer data to and from SAP system applications and external systems.
WE30 is a transaction code in SAP Basis application with the description IDoc Type Development.
Click on header and create segment (you can paste from clipboard with insert button). - Select ZDUMMY segment created before. - Save and fill package and transport order for this modification. Add Message Type (MATMAS), Basic Type (MATMAS05), Extension (ZMATEX01) and Release.
You cannot add custom field to the standard IDOC type. I would suggest you to create an extended IDOC for your Std. IDOC and add the new field into the extended IDOC type. This can be done thru tcode WE30.
A Creating IDoc Extensions Enter transaction code WE31. From the Segment type list, enter a segment type and then click the Create icon. In the Short Description field, enter a description for the segment. Click the Save icon. In the Package field, enter a name for the package and then click the Save icon.
WE31 is a transaction code in SAP Basis application with the description Development IDoc Segment.
The t-code WE02 is a standard transaction in the SAP ERP system SAP R/3 in program RSEIDOC2 . It is used to display IDOC. The functional component of the t-code WE02 is known as Basis Components, Middleware, and ALE Integration Technology.
