Employers no longer need to print a paper copy for employees. If you would like to obtain a copy of your ROE, you should visit the My Service Canada Account page online. From My Service Canada Account, you can view and / or print copies of ROEs on the same day the ROE is submitted.
Deadline for issuing an ROE If you issue an ROE on paper, then it must be issued within 5 calendar days of: The first day of an interruption of earnings, or. The day the employer becomes aware of an interruption of earnings.
Youll need to request the legal ROE forms from the CRA. You can then use the ROE from QuickBooks Online as a guide to assist you with filling out the legal ROE forms from the CRA. There are three copies of the legal ROE forms: one for your employee, one to mail back in to the CRA, and one for your personal records.
