[Music] hello everyone how are you doing this is mdtech here of another quick tutorial today Im going to show you guys how to create a comment on Microsoft Word so if youre revising somebodys paper and you want to make sure that they easily can see where in the paper youre referring to if you have a comment or suggestion this tutorial will be for you so were going to jump right into it so the first thing you want to do is make sure you go underneath the insert tab at the top should be a third tab from the left side and then you want to go over to wherever you want to make your comment so you can highlight over something if you wanted to so lets highlight this sentence for example and then Im going to left-click on this comment button right here which should insert a comment so you can see that I highlighted this area and now it is highlighted in this comment color so at this point on the right side you can enter a comment you could say anything you want Im going to say not det

Microsoft Word document with comments Navigate to where you want the comment to appear. Click Insert Comment. Type the comment and then click outside of the comment bubble to save.
You can show and hide comments using the Review tab in the Ribbon in Microsoft Word. If you add comments in a Word document, they will appear in a markup area on the right side of pages by default. If you want to show or hide comments, youll need to control the display of markup.
I cannot see any comments. Step 1: Go to the Review tab and select All Markup in the drop down menu (Word 2019). Step 2: Click on Show markup below All Markup and tick Comments (Word 2019).

To view all comments, including all resolved comments, open the Comments pane by clicking Comments in the ribbon. You can interact with comments in the Comments pane the same as you would in the contextual view. If you reopen a resolved comment, it will be visible again in the contextual view.
Find the Review tab, select the Tracking group, and click on Show Markup. Rest your pointer on Balloons, and then select Show All Revisions inline to display comments inline and deletions with strikethroughs. Rest your pointer on a comment inside the document. The comment will appear in a ScreenTip.
Select the Review tab in the Ribbon. In the Tracking group, make sure that Comments is checked in the Show Markup menu. See Figure 10 below.
