in this tutorial we will learn how to combine multiple cells quickly in multiple ways so lets see how we can do that i have some data in column b and i want to combine these cells so quickly how i can do this what i will do i will write formula as equal to concatenate bracket star then transpose one more bracket star and then i will select the range and i will close both brackets at this stage i will select only transpose bar carefully and press f9 f9 is the key that we have to use at this stage and next step is in formula bar or within cell itself i will remove these middle bracket now we can press enter and we can see that all the values are concatenated very quickly we can copy this and paste a special as values but what about if we want to is use a space or semicolon or comma or anything between two values while adding all the cells so lets see how we can do that so i will write formula as equal to concatenate bracket and then same transpose formula one more bracket i will select

CONCATENATE Excel Ranges (With a Separator) Select the cell where you need the result. Go to formula bar and enter =TRANSPOSE(A1:A5) Select the entire formula and press F9 (this converts the formula into values). Remove the curly brackets from both ends.
In the Add Text dialog box, type the comma sign into the Text box, then select the After last character in the Position section, and finally click the OK button. The comma now is added after each cell text in selected range.
There are two ways to do this: Add double quotation marks with a space between them . For example: =CONCATENATE(Hello, , World!). Add a space after the Text argument. For example: =CONCATENATE(Hello , World!). The string Hello has an extra space added.
Be aware that when you join two strings, Excel does not insert a space or any punctuation between the two. You must do it by inserting between the two strings, as shown above, or by replacing that space with a hyphen or other punctuation. The quotation marks are required.
How to CONCATENATE cells with commas in Google Sheets? Similar to adding spaces in the CONCATENATE function, to add a comma, simply add , as the delimiter to your formula.
First comma is placed three digits from the right of the number to form thousands, second comma is placed next two digits from the right of the number, to mark lakhs and third comma is placed after another next two digits from the right to mark crore, in Indian system of numeration.
Select Format Cells from the right-click menu, then check the option next to Use 1000 separator in the Number section to enable the comma in any cell (,).
Combine data using the CONCAT function Select the cell where you want to put the combined data. Type =CONCAT(. Select the cell you want to combine first. Use commas to separate the cells you are combining and use quotation marks to add spaces, commas, or other text. Close the formula with a parenthesis and press Enter.
