hi YouTube welcome to Amy Academy Python challenges series in this first challenge we will see how to find the ASCII code of a single character of a shrink and also how to find the ASCII code of a text file now in order to find the ASCII code of a single character we can use the Ord function so in order to find that say the ASCII code of a character of the character area all we have to do is we have to use this order D function and then type in a character whose value we want to see or whose code was ASCII code we want to see so in here you can see that the function is already inside the brackets and inside single quotation marks I have typed an A so when I run it you can see that it shows me 65 so the same way we can use this function to find the ASCII code of other characters so for B if you run it you can see that its 66 and for lets say the lowercase C when you run it its 99 so for AF is 65 for BS 66 for lowercase C its 99 so we can use this over D function to find the ASCII c
