my name is Mark Goodner Im a product manager on the C plus team at Microsoft and Im here today to talk about overcoming embedded development tooling challenges and so well dive in so at cppcon theres a lot of us from Microsoft here we actually have a link to a Discord server there where you can find anybody from the Microsoft team to ask questions or discuss any of announcements with us weve also got a survey thats important to us for attendees from the CPP Community if you could have a chance to take that survey it would really help us out in terms of prioritizing product features um so Im uh I mentioned Im a product manager on the C plus plus team I focus on embedded across visual studio and visual studio code and what I wanted to talk to you today about is overcoming embedded tooling challenges and to do so I think were going to start with covering kind of where embedded tooling is today and then from there I want to focus on using your own IDE for embedded development I t
