Go to the Details tab. Make sure that the Font embeddability property is either Installable or Editable. Otherwise, you cannot embed it.
What does embedding a font mean? Embedding fonts ensures that all font information in your document is secured in your PDF. This means that when it is opened on a different device, it looks the way you intended.
Launch the Microsoft PowerPoint application. Click the Design tab at the top of the PowerPoint window. Then, go to Customize Fonts in the toolbar that appears. In the Customize Fonts window, scroll through the font options available and pick your recently installed font.
There are four permissions of font embeddability installable, editable, print/preview and restricted. Installable - Allows fonts to be embedded in the document and installed permanently in the computer. Editable - Allows fonts to be embedded in the document but only installs fonts temporarily in the system.
To embed fonts on Windows follow these steps: Click the File tab in the ribbon and then select Options. In the Options dialog, select Save. At the bottom of the right panel, select the Embed fonts in the file check box. Choose either Embed only the characters used in the presentation (Subset) or Embed all characters.
Insert an embedded object Click in the slide where you want to place the object. On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click Object. Do one of the following: If the object does not already exist, click Create new. Do one of the following: To display the content in your presentation, clear the Display as icon check box.
Under Preserve fidelity when sharing this document, check the Embed fonts in the file option. To reduce the resulting documents file size, be sure to check the Embed only the characters used in the document (best for reducing file size) option. Office will only embed a font if its used in the document.
