Upload the custom font to your Google Drive by opening Google Drive, clicking the New button, and selecting File Upload. Choose the font file from your computer to upload it to Google Drive. Once the font is uploaded, right-click on the font file, select Open with, and then choose Google Docs.
Word can only embed fonts on your system that have been installed in the TTF format. If your font files are in the OTF format, you cant embed them in Word documents.
To check that your fonts are embedded in docHub, go to File on the top menu and select Properties then select the Fonts tab, this will list the font used in the document. You want to check that they are either (Embedded) or (Embedded Subset).
Embed files Open a file in Google Docs, Sheets, or Slides. At the top, click File Share. Publish to web. In the window that appears, click Embed. Choose a publishing option:
Open your PDF in docHub Pro. Go to File Save As Other Optimized PDF. In the dialog box, click on Fonts and ensure all your fonts are listed. Check Embed all fonts and then save your PDF.
To ensure the consistent appearance of your documents, having embedded fonts in PDF files is a standard practice that preserves the layout and style, regardless of the device or platform on which its viewed.
In the Add fonts window, navigate to the Upload section. Click on the + button, and choose the custom font files (usually in TTF or OTF format) from your computer. Confirm the upload or choose from the exisitng font library from Google Slides more fonts menu.
Embed fonts in Word or PowerPoint Click the File tab and then click Options (its near the bottom left corner of the window). In the left column, select the Save tab. At the bottom, under Preserve fidelity when sharing this presentation, select the Embed fonts in the file check box.
