a super quick trick for embedding fonts in your pdf and now this is for amazon kdp because youamp;#39;ll work so hard on a design so let me show you mine i worked really hard on this design i got everything to match i donamp;#39;t have any any widows or orphans but when i export it into kdp itamp;#39;s not right so my font my all my design is wrong uh my font is wrong and these hereamp;#39;s a little end glyph which i want at the bottom of every page in a section and itamp;#39;s still instead itamp;#39;s on a blank page on its own separate spot right it has nothing it it the layout is just not working itamp;#39;s not what i created at all so you can see the fix the issue that you might be having this one is saying my hyperlinks donamp;#39;t work thatamp;#39;s just the table of contents but this one is saying the font doesnamp;#39;t work now thereamp;#39;s a link about this and um well let me just click on it here but itamp;#39;s essentially um itamp;#39;s not very helpful

Embed fonts in a document or presentation Open the file you want to embed fonts in. On the application (PowerPoint or Word) menu, select Preferences. In the dialog box, under Output and Sharing, select Save. Under Font Embedding, select Embed fonts in the file.
Word can only embed fonts on your system that have been installed in the TTF format. If your font files are in the OTF format, you cant embed them in Word documents.
Embed or link to a file in Word Go to Insert Object. Select Create from File. Select Browse and choose the file you want to use. Select Insert. Choose Display as icon to embed, or Link to file for a link. Select OK.
You may be wondering why it is so important to embed fonts in Illustrator. Well heres why; it will ensure your design displays as you intended across devices and in print regardless if the device displaying your file, or the printer, has the same fonts you used.

Go to File Save As Other Optimized PDF. In the dialog box, click on Fonts and ensure all your fonts are listed. Check Embed all fonts and then save your PDF.
One way you can change the style of a document is by adding a new text font. To add a font to Word, download and the font in Windows, where it will become available to all Microsoft 365 applications. Fonts come as files, and there are many sites on the Internet where you can download free fonts, such as DaFont.
Microsoft Word allows you to embed a TrueType font in a Word document so that you can view and edit the font, if licensing rights allow. You can do this even if you open the document on a computer on which the font is not installed.
