Embed fonts in Word or PowerPoint Click the File tab and then click Options (its near the bottom left corner of the window). In the left column, select the Save tab. At the bottom, under Preserve fidelity when sharing this presentation, select the Embed fonts in the file check box.
To embed a TrueType font in a saved document in Microsoft Office Word 2007, follow these steps: Click the Microsoft Office Button. Click Word Options. On the Save tab, click to select the Embed fonts in the file check box.
Word can only embed fonts on your system that have been installed in the TTF format. If your font files are in the OTF format, you cant embed them in Word documents.
Open the PDF in docHub Reader or docHub. Navigate to File Properties. Click the Fonts tab. If a font has the phrase (Embedded Subset) after the font name, then embedding is allowed.
To check that your fonts are embedded in docHub, go to File on the top menu and select Properties then select the Fonts tab, this will list the font used in the document. You want to check that they are either (Embedded) or (Embedded Subset).
Embedded objects become part of the Word file or email message and, after they are inserted, they are no longer connected to any source file. Linked objects can be updated if the source file is modified. Linked data is stored in the source file.
Select the tab at the top that says Fonts and then look for the fonts that have (Embedded Subset) at the end of their name. These are the fonts that are already embedded.
There are four permissions of font embeddability installable, editable, print/preview and restricted. Installable - Allows fonts to be embedded in the document and installed permanently in the computer. Editable - Allows fonts to be embedded in the document but only installs fonts temporarily in the system.
