A docHub Document is a single-use document that you create and send via docHub out to to specific people. We use the word document in contrast to templates, content library items, and forms. A docHub template is a master copy of your key document (your typical Proposal, Agreement, Contract, etc.)
docHub Forms is an add-on feature in our Business and Enterprise plans. Unlike other open-source form builder software, our solution allows you to collect data and automate your workflow. It integrates seamlessly with contracts, proposals, quotes, payment collection gateways, eSignatures, and lots more.
There are two different ways to embed a docHub view into an application or website. Both templates and documents can be embedded but they are docHubly different in functionality. For starters, a simple embed code can be copied and used directly from your docHub workspace into a webpage.
Legally binding eSignatures Bring your organization into the 21st century without sacrificing legalities by leveraging docHub eSignatures. Our eSignatures allow your staff and external recipients to eSign documents from any computer or mobile device.
Select +Create new on the left panel or go to the Documents app and select +Document. From here, select: Blank document to start from scratch in the docHub editor. You can also select one of your pre-made templates or a template from our Template gallery.
To summarize, either software will work for your basic e-signature needs. docHub is better for sales purposes, while has more comprehensive security features.
To add a field, open your document/template first, then go to the Content panel on the right, select a role/recipient who will fill out this field later, or add a new one under Fillable fields for. After that, click on the field or drag and drop it to the place you need.
