One way to embed a text file in an HTML file is to use the element. The src attribute of the element can be set to the URL of the text file. The text file will be displayed within the bounds of the element.
As mentioned, we use iframe to embed an HTML document onto a page. Alternatively, embed is used to embed other types of content, including PDFs, browser plugins, and Flash animations. The embed element can also be used to place media, but iframe is better for this purpose.
Place your cursor in the content where you want the HTML code to appear on the page and then click on the Insert HTML icon in the toolbar (next to the Source icon). Paste your HTML code in the window which appears and click OK. Update the page and you are done.
Click Page Edit and then from the Format Text tab, click Edit Source. Enter the HTML code. Important: HTML code is not validated when you add it to your web page. Errors in the HTML code can cause a web page to display incorrectly.
The HTML element embeds external content at the specified point in the document. This content is provided by an external application or other source of interactive content such as a browser plug-in.
Here are the steps for embedding HTML code into a Custom Page: Open the Custom Page for editing then click on Embed in the Formatting Toolbar. Paste in the embeddable code into the Content Field. Preview the content. Go to the Set Layout tab to make any necessary adjustments to the contents presentation.
You embed something when you place a block of code called an embed code into the HTML editor of another website. When you hit Save or Publish, the media then renders on the published page. Embedded content is referenced with HTML.
Updated September 30, 2022. An embed code is a short line of text that you can copy and paste from one website to another in HTML coding language. It includes the source link, height, and width of the content you are adding.
