hello everyone welcome back to the Clara CFO group Channel my name is Hannah smolinski I am the owner of Clara CFO group and I am here to talk to you today about invoicing invoicing and QuickBooks Online a lot of you have started using QuickBooks online because maybe you watched a video that I did on how to use it but now youre trying to figure out the invoicing feature and what I realized is some of you had questions and I went to go find a video thinking I had already done a video on invoicing and I couldnt find it and then I was thinking maybe I dont have a comprehensive video about QuickBooks invoicing so here we are thats what this video is all about today is about QuickBooks invoicing how to use it a couple key points and why you should be using it instead of doing something outside of the system so I want to go through all of that with you and then show you actually in QuickBooks how to set some things up and customize it a little bit specifically for what you need but first

Billing tags are metadata elements that you can apply to Microsoft Customer Agreement MCA billing entities including billing profiles and invoice sections. Just like Azure tags, billing tags are key-value pairs that are used to identify the entities.
You can assign metadata to your resources in the form of tags. Each tag is a label consisting of a user-defined key and value. Tags can help you manage, identify, organize, search for, and filter resources. You can create tags to categorize resources by purpose, owner, environment, or other criteria.
Open the Amazon Personalize console at and sign in to your account. Choose Create dataset group. For Name, enter a name. For Domain, choose a domain. Expand the Tags section and choose Add new tag. For Key and Value, enter appropriate values.
To activate your tag keys Sign in to the AWS Management Console and open the AWS Billing and Cost Management console at . In the navigation pane, choose Cost allocation tags. Select the tag keys that you want to activate. Choose Activate.
AWS cost allocation tags are managed at the payer account level. When an account moves to another organization, both user-defined and AWS-generated cost allocation tags previously activated for that account lose their active status and need to be activated again.
You can use tags to organize your resources, and cost allocation tags to track your AWS costs on a detailed level. After you activate cost allocation tags, AWS uses the cost allocation tags to organize your resource costs on your cost allocation report, to make it easier for you to categorize and track your AWS costs.
