ASCI i codes are string of characters that let you display one other type of character when theyre using the right combination so lets say you have a keyboard that doesnt have a dollar sign well you can come to one of these sites that have the codes listed copy this put it right in there save it over the page and it displays the dollar sign well theres a ton of symbols every symbol you could want is listed in here so most keyboards have a lot of these tenant symbols and yes there are ASCI codes for letters as well but there are some characters that you just do not have on your keyboard so for example the copyright symbol we just copy that one right next to it the registered trademark symbol save them refresh the page and there they are theres a ton of these theyre super useful thats how you get these special characters in there I recommend you storing through this seeing all the different characters that you can add in
