Hello MathTypers, in this video well look at a simple way to insert symbols that arent located in MathTypes symbol palettes. Youre working with another teacher who has sent you one of her quizzes. You want to modify it and use it for your class. One of the expressions looks similar to the one here. Youve looked in all of MathTypes palettes, and cant find the symbol for not parallel. Fortunately MathType makes available literally hundreds of additional symbols that arent included in the palettes. MathTypes Insert Symbol dialog is available in its Edit menu. Its easy to see in the Insert Symbol dialog, we can insert symbols from fonts we choose from this list. Remember the symbol were looking for is the not parallel symbol.
