hello this is dr west fryer today is august the 9th 2020 and in this screencast id like to teach you a very powerful way to embed a document on or embed a google document on a website and in this case im going to show you how i am putting the learning guide that were going to use this year as we have potent the potential to be remote learning at home with students have students at home were calling flex learning and then students face to face its really important what do we do in class where do students go to get their information so let me first just show you what one of my websites looks like so i think ill move my picture over here um so this is my fifth grade computer class ive got six different sections um this year and ive recorded introductory videos for each one of my classes that i just have right now at the top this is the bulletin board class page that we have for each class so ive got some links over here on the side but look down below i have this google document

Styles add-on supplements your Google Docs with professional styles makes your documents look consistent and complete. ADD YOUR OWN STYLES - Create new styles from scratch. - Add as many custom elements to your style as you want (e.g. quotes, descriptions, etc.) and format them in different ways.
By default, anything you type in a Google Doc is styled as Normal text. To switch styles, place the insertion point in the paragraph that you want to change. Click the Styles menu and choose the style that you want.
If you are using docHub to create your PDF then the latest versions will automatically embed any suitable fonts. In earlier versions you can turn this on or off, so make sure you have this ticked (see the diagram below). Also check that the fonts you are using are listed in the Font Source.
Code Blocks makes it easy to put your code into Google Docs. Simply select some text, click the Format button, and it will be formatted with the color theme of your choice.
Google fonts are strictly web based and will not be embedded in a PDF.
Click the Edit page icon, which looks like a pencil icon, to open the page editor. Place the cursor where youd like to insert the object. From the Insert menu, select the object youd like to insert. Share the Google Doc, Sheet, or Slide with the same audience you share your site with.
Add an image to a document or presentation On your computer, open a document or presentation in Google Docs or Slides. Click Insert. Image. Choose where to get your image from. Upload from computer: Insert an image saved on your device. Search the web: Search the web for an image. Click Insert or Open.

Update Paragraph Styles Apply the text format you want to use for the style. Click the Styles list arrow. Click the menu arrow for the style you want to update. Select Update [style] to match.
Laying out a document with both text and images can sometimes be a challenge. To make this task a bit easier, you can lock an image into a fixed position in Google Docs. You can choose a spot for the image, adjust it relative to the top left of the page, or pick a quick layout.
