Low-grade squamous intraepithelial lesions look slightly abnormal when looked at under a microscope. They are usually caused by infection with certain types of human papillomavirus (HPV) and are found when a Pap test or biopsy is done.
Nabothian cysts are harmless bumps that sometimes form when skin cells clog glands in the cervix. If your provider notices them during a pelvic exam, dont worry. Theyre common and usually dont require any treatment at all.
What to know about bumps on the cervix. Bumps or lumps on the cervix may be benign or noncancerous growths, such as polyps or cysts. In some cases, however, they may indicate the presence of cervical cancer. A doctor might discover a bump on the cervix during a routine pelvic examination or a Pap smear test.
The changes in cervical mucus happen as a result of hormones shifting throughout your menstrual cycle. Estrogen increases before ovulation and makes your cervix produce the fertile, egg-white mucus. Its your bodys way of making it easy for sperm to docHub the egg its about to release.

Silver nitrate is a chemical stick that is applied to the ectropion and cauterises the area. It takes approximately one to two minutes. It is not used on large areas.
