Adding People to a Group Text iPhone/iPad: Tap the member icons at the top of the group text, select Add Contact, and choose a contact to add. Android (Google Messages): In the group text, tap ⋮, go to People options Add people and select a contact.
Open the Messages app on your iPhone. Tap the group conversation you want to add someone to. Tap the group name at the top of the conversation, then tap the button that shows how many people are in the conversation. Tap Add Contact, then enter the new recipients phone number, contact name, or Apple ID.
You can only add someone to a group message that already includes three or more people. You cant add someone to a messages conversation that youre already having with just one other person.
Open the Contacts app and tap + to add a new contact. To add a contact from a text message, tap the phone number at the top of the message, tap Info, and then tap Create New Contact. To add a contact from a recent phone call, open the Phone app, tap Recents, tap the i in a circle, then tap Create New Contact.
Heres how to do it: Open the web browser on your Android device and navigate to the webpage you want to share. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner. Tap Share. Tap Copy to clipboard. Open the Messages app and start a new message. Tap and hold in the message field and then tap Paste to insert the link.
Add people to a DM On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chat app or Gmail app . In Gmail: At the bottom, tap Chat . In the bottom navigation menu, tap Direct messages . Open a DM. At the top, tap the conversation name. Tap Manage members. Tap Add people . Enter a name or email address. tap Done.
Heres what to do: On your current iPhone, tap Settings to open it. Tap your name. Tap iCloud. Move the Messages slider to on/green. On the new phone that you want to transfer the messages to, log in to the same iCloud account and repeat the steps to enable Messages in iCloud.
