Contact us
Open the People panel. Click Add People. Enter recipient information and assign signer order. Add as many recipients as you wish by clicking Add Another Recipient and set signer order for each.
Insert the generated link into the email, ensuring that recipients can easily access the document for signing by clicking on the provided link.
Editing Recipients: To edit a recipient, click the Edit link to the left of the recipients name and repeat steps 2 and 3. Changing Recipient Order: You can change the order in which recipients receive the envelope by typing a different value in the Order field or by dragging and dropping the row into a new position.
Embedded Signers. These signers use your application and the Embedded Recipient View to sign from within your application. This is the recommended choice when the signer is already using your application via a browser or mobile app.
To add recipients from your Address book: Click the address book icon. Select the recipients you want to send the envelope to. Click Add. All the selected names are added with a Sign recipient Action.
You can use the Contacts list to add recipients from your Address Book or the Directory to the envelopes you send. You can add, update, and delete entries in your Address Book through the My Preferences Account Contacts view.
Enable specify recipients: When selected, senders are able to use the Specify recipients recipient action. This specifies a recipient who can fill in the name and email address of the role recipients who are at their same position or later in the signing order.
The status for each recipient is similar to the overall envelope status options: Needs to Sign - The recipient has not yet signed. Signs in Person - The In Person signer has not yet signed. Copy Received - The email notification was sent to a cc: recipient.
