A script written in another screenwriting program or a regular word processing program can be exported as a text or RTF file, then imported into Final Draft. Final Draft will reformat the file as a feature screenplay. Exporting as text is the best choice, exporting as RTF is the second-best choice.
Final Draft doesnt support live hyperlinks in the body of a script. However, you can place a hyperlink into a ScriptNote and if its clicked, the link will open in your computers default web browser.
Drag one or both pins to select the text you need. When the text has been selected, the Cut / Copy / Paste menu will be displayed. To delete the selected text, touch the Backspace key. To paste the selected text, double-tap the target point of the script to bring up the Cut / Copy / Paste menu and touch Paste.
Fade In is a strong alternative to Final Draft that costs less than half as much. It is more than adequate as professional screenwriting software, despite lacking a few of Final Drafts features.
