[Music] hey im luke with total3dprinting.org and today i want to talk about embedding hardware into 3d prints particularly fdm prints why would we want to do this well uh to create functional parts things like this pocket knife here uh pins are gonna allow my knife my fork and my spoon all to open up as i need them so were gonna talk about three main things first a pin second a nut and third a screw and we will touch on embedding this here blade into part careful with the knives im not going to talk a whole lot about the design uh of these things but generally speaking for pins i want the hole in my printer my my design to be 0.1 millimeters undersized and then for things like screws and nuts i shoot for about 0.4 millimeters oversized the first type of hardware and really the priority when it comes to build orientation on an fdm parameter is pins what you really want to do is orient your pins or pin a hole so that they are vertical on the build plate now why is this well any pin i

Embedded document or nested documents are those types of documents which contain a document inside another document.
Printing an HTML Document Open a document in the HTML editor. Do one of the following: On the main menu, click File Print. Press CTRL+P. The document prints as it appears in the HTML editor, NOT as it appears in a browser.
Print attachments received in email messages In the message list, click the message that has attachments that you want to print. Click the File tab. Click Print. Under Printer, click Print Options. In the Print dialog box, under Print Options, select the Print attached files check box.
Printing Embedded Documents Activate the document window. From the Menu bar, click File Print. The Print dialog is displayed. Select your print options. For example, the printer to use and the number of copies to print. Click OK or Print.

Embedding makes the font locally available on the print shops computer for the time that the document is opened. Embedding increases the size of your artwork file only slightly but allows all fonts to be displayed correctly.
